Milestone 1989

Total Thread (later renamed Coats Bangladesh, presently known as Coats, Plc) was established as the pioneer sewing thread company in the country. It is a joint venture with A.K.Khan & Company Ltd. and Coats Viyella Group, UK – a renowned multinational and world’s largest sewing thread manufacturer. Coats Bangladesh is involved in producing sewing thread for the export market and is considered market leader in its sector.
